Seulement les \u00e9quipements marqu\u00e9s CE ou conformes aux normes internationales (EN\u202f795, EN\u202f360, EN\u202f1496) sont autoris\u00e9s\u202f . L\u2019entretien v\u00e9rifie notamment l\u2019absence de corrosion, la fonctionnalit\u00e9 des blocages automatiques, l\u2019\u00e9tat du c\u00e2ble ou de la corde et l\u2019\u00e9tat des connecteurs.
